 Well, I've had the joyous moment of uploading a new
post in Blogger, via their new API (interface), 
and it is quite nice to be able to upload all 10 images in one go!
I must admit...
But it is all new to me, so slowly does it...

And today, in Australia, of course is Anzac Day
and most of us who have had relatives in Aus for over 80yrs
know of someone who has fought in the war,
 As I come from a mixture of convict stock and 
immigrants in the late 1800's, my ancestry most certainly
lived through all the recent wars.
I have a few relatives who fought in the wars, 
and two died in aciton.
Both in WW1.

And of course, if not for these selfless, couragous people,
Australia wouldn't be what it is today,
maybe it would be a moden day Japan,
who knows,
so there you go, how lucky we are...

And this beautiful home is dedicated to all those 
selfless wonderful men who died for us overseas,
and who survived to come home too.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.


 Yep, I bet they all wished they could have come home
to a house like this, overlooking a golf course,
to live out their days on the Gold Coast, QLD.

but I thought this home was beautiful,
don't know how I'd go living there with my two
youngens, under 5, with all that white!







Yeah it's not a huge backyard,
unless you include the whole golf course,
10 minutes from the Gold Coast Beaches,
I'm there in a heart beat, 
backyard or no backyard!

Tho a pool would have been nice!

OK, I'm in mixed minds about this one...
I posted it because of it's uniqueness,
but of course, it is a little "mod" for my style,

I can't stand ceiling pendant light fittings
that disperse the light onto the ceiling
all funny because of the glass...
I see it a lot, I find it distracting..
Does anyone else agree on that???
or is it just me?
