Built less than a year ago,
this is def a wow factor home!

AND here's the MASTER PLAN!

AND here's what the Agent said about it!

Designer Hamptons Style

As featured in Home Beautiful September 2011. All the effortless elegance and style of the Hamptons has been combined with the relaxed familiarity of Australian living to create this showcase home located less than 10 minutes' drive from the CBD.

Built less than a year ago, the tri-level residence has certainly been designed to impress, with a host of enviable entertainment options including a pool, home theatre and wine cellar all of which are meticulously presented.

As is to be expected of a home of this calibre, every last detail has been carefully considered and chosen with an unerring eye by the current owner, who is also a director of the acclaimed Porchlight Interiors.

As such, many of the light fittings have been sourced from the USA in keeping with the Hamptons style, and complimented by a selection of antique pieces. Bespoke cabinetry has been custom built and fitted with designer handles especially selected from the USA.

All these individual elements then complement and enhance the overall look which sees a bright and breezy, light-filled interior anchored by the traditional dark American Oak floors. Multiple balconies and terraces offer great interaction with the outdoors, while the semi open-plan style complements the Australian lifestyle, while still maintaining the feel of several distinctly intimate spaces as is in keeping with US East Coast style.

The main level offers clearly delineated areas for formal, dining and casual living (with a Bi Folding wall of timber framed glass doors leading out to the 10 meter solar heated pool) while a third space exists on the upper level that is ideal for children.

A formal dining room features American designer wallpaper and a cluster of antique Egyptian lights. Meanwhile casual dining is catered for with the massive 3600mm long marble island bench in the kitchen.

Certainly the kitchen is one of the most show-stopping features of the home with its bespoke fit out entirely geared to delivering a dream workspace dedicated to the sheer enjoyment of entertaining and cooking. A butler's pantry, quality stainless steel appliances (including 900mm freestanding Ilve cooker), luxurious Calacatta marble bench tops and of course all that capacious cabinetry finished with soft-closing doors and drawers.

The kitchen looks out over the pool and terrace, to create beautiful water views and easy access when dining alfresco. On the lower level a fully dedicated and sound proofed media room comes complete with tiered seating, a projector, built in surround system and screen.

The fabulous dine-in wine cellar which has been finished in moody, somber tones with random slate floors and atmospheric lighting to create the perfect ambience for refined wine tasting and some serious poker nights.

The home's 5 bedrooms are all generous in size, with a guest suite and bathroom by the home's main entrance and 3 children's rooms together with the ensuited master room upstairs. While 2 of the children's rooms enjoy access onto a shared balcony, the master suite is able to open out onto a larger balcony that overlooks the pool.

Like the rest of the home, each of the bathrooms and indeed even the laundry offer great attention to detail and the same high level of finishes. The main ensuite creates a truly serene space with adjoining walk-in wardrobe and fabulous style, the main family bathroom finished with Italian basket weave tiles and Perrin and Rowe tap ware, boasts great usability with a separate shower room complete with freestanding bath and a laundry chute.

Further features include a built-in study area in the kitchen, a full home office by the front door, air-conditioning, ducted vacuum system, three surround sound systems, and a huge storeroom next to the dual car garage. All walls and ceilings are sound proofed throughout the home, to ensure total privacy.
