It's very important to have a holiday scheme that complements your decor.
Interior designer Lisa Luby Ryan
Veranda (November - December 2010)

Lisa Luby Ryan is an interior designer based in Dallas, Texas and the owner of a shop called Vintage Living. The spaces she creates are carefully edited. Each object is unique - often reclaimed or antique, so it brings a story or bit of history to a home. Ryan prefers quality over quantity, and her clean interiors give special items the room they need to shine. Her palette is calm and neutral. Blues and greens evoke sea and sky. Mercury glass and rock crystal add sparkle, and seashells provide texture. Lisa Luby Ryan's decor is beautiful, but very family-friendly. She designs elegant spaces in which to create happy memories, including very merry Christmases, as depicted in three different homes below.
